The New England Ruffnecks 16U Team competed in the CABA World Series, which is a tournament with some of the best teams throughout the country. It is the culmination of a rigorous schedule from June to July. The Ruffnecks is a developmental baseball program for high school players, preparing them to compete at higher levels of play. Several players in the program have been drafted by Major League teams, while many players have been able to play at the collegiate level. The program is located in the Boston area, but attracts players from as far as CT, RI & NH. The program started in 2006.
