In the undulating topography of rural Pennsylvania there are landforms with small depressions that are known as troughs. The Wellsboro landscape provides some wonderful examples throughout the patchwork of farmland. These landforms are accentuated by woodland masses, cornfield rows and dirt roads. This creates a geometric overlay allowing for a more dramatic visualization of the land's sculptural topography.
