These are mostly rural-farm landscapes surrounding Wellsboro, PA.. The photographs come from driving the back roads of the region over the course of several years. It is an ongoing fascination with the imprints of humanity on the land which defines the essential characteristics of this rural landscape. I seek to discover the unique qualities it has to offer for those who look for it. I consider my efforts to be a "landscape exploration", in which I move in anticipation for what lies around the bend or over the hill.
