Frank Gehry MIT Collage of Shapes
An MIT building designed by Frank Gehry is like a collage of shapes creating a complexity of facades & materials. The building is indicative of Gehry's interest in the juxtaposition of angular and geometric forms. It's probably the most creative architecture on the MIT campus, perfectly suited to the urban-industrial environment of Cambridge yet boldly unique. This environment is dominated by the university as well as the numerous bio-tech companies surrounding the campus.
